David and Rebecca’s Ross Bridge Wedding was one of the most beautiful weddings I have had the pleasure of shooting to date. No detail was left out. They are a beautiful couple with a really beautiful love story and I am so honored I had the opportunity to capture one of the biggest days of their life for them. Below is a little bit about their love story in Rebecca’s words.
“David and I met at a mutual friends party. He was very quiet, and had worked all day. He was dirty, tired, and red headed. Exactly what I needed and, until that moment, the exact opposite of what I thought I wanted. He was patient and kind, reserved and gentlemen-like. Obviously, very foreign to a young 20 year old girl. I’m not quite sure where to start on explaining our love story. We met and quickly realized that it was different, in every way. It was a feeling that was new to each of us: trust and attraction, and QUICK, did I mention that? We met each other at a time where, later, we realized was an outrageous time to start a real relationship, but nevertheless pursued one another. Dating him was the best decision I have ever made.
David proposed the Riverwalk at Manderson Landing, on a park bench. This was the same park bench we had sat on only once before, after dinner the night of our first date, where we discussed how we did not want to start a long distance relationship. He was graduating in one month and then moving 100 miles away to begin his career and it seemed less than ideal to start a relationship. Nonetheless, we did, and four and a half years later he proposed, on the same park bench where we decided our situation was not ideal, but went for it.
The things I love the most about the two of us are,
1. The magnitude of difference we have made in each other’s successes. He has changed the way I operate in almost every way of my life, and I helped open him to experiences and ways of living he had not known.
2. The way we trust each other with absolutely every cell, and love without reservation. There is no secret, story, or feeling that we keep from another because we are partners in every way, and plan to continue to live out our marriage as a team in every circumstance.
We love to go out on our boat together, try new places to eat, and love to travel to see our friends and family as we have lots of them across the USA. We love to relax and spend quiet, quality time together, as it has been very few and far between for the entirety of our relationship being long distance. We both love popcorn, and to watch movies on the couch- not so much in theaters.”
David and Rebecca, we wish you the happiest marriage and are so glad we got to be part of your love story!

David and Vivian’s Centerville Wedding was so beautiful! I’ve know Vivian for a few years, so when she reached out to me to capture her and David’s wedding day, I was truly honored. Vivian is such a creative person. She had a vision for her wedding day, and she truly brought it to life. David and Vivian’s ceremony was held at the Oaks, in Centerville, AL. Vivian carefully made her own bouquet, and had details that made her day sparkle. And if you know me, you know sparkle is my language. They had Taco Mama as their caterer! I mean, come on somebody! We had a great day with David and Vivian at the Centerville Wedding! Thank you so much for entrusting us with your wedding images!
